Metamorphosis to adulthood

3) Myssis :
• In this stage the animal’s body is bent and it uses abdominal appendages to swim.
• It starts to eat artemia (a living organism).
• This stage lasts for 3 days.

• 4) Post Larva :
  • This is the stage when it looks like a miniature shrimp.
  • It feeds on artemia and microalgae. After the fifth day it starts to feed on balanced compound feed.
  • This stage lasts 12 days.
